#plainpledge® was a success!

The #plainpledge® health literacy awareness social media campaign was a huge success. We had over 200 pledges from 19 states and 11 countries. The most common word people pledged to stop using was hypertension – we need to pledge to just say high blood pressure. The campaign brought awareness to make health information simple by pledging to stop using jargon and use plain language instead.
